Carry a Knife, Go to Jail

Unfortunately, knife crime remains a serious problem throughout many of our communities and one which can pull families apart and wreck the lives of young people.  We need to send a message that it is unacceptable to carry a knife and get tough on those who do so.  That is why I have helped to organise a knife crime petition, calling for mandatory sentencing for all those caught using or carrying a knife.
